Built in Wardrobes
I built these built in wardrobes in our new nursery for our new baby son. When I was designing our house, the wall in this area should have came straight down (from the roof) however I decided to step it back 700mm into what is an attic space with the intent to use this space for built in wardrobes.
I started by designing the units in Google SketchUp, like I do with all my projects. When I was happy with the design I went about making a cutting list, ensuring the best use of materials. In all it took 4 sheets of 18mm white melamine, and 1.5 sheets of MR MDF for the doors.
We were really happy with the finished outcome, and it provides a huge amount of additional space for all those baby related items!
